Lovely location and accommodation. Staff very friendly.

Beautiful room with balcony overlooking the forest. Unfortunately we didn't see nay monkeys during our stay

Aonang Fiore Resort: Great place to stay!

Pool was amazing as was the pool bar! Staff were friendly and room service was great Rooms were great size and very clean Great location - close to the town without being in it

Air conditioning might need upgraded - difficult to cool the room Bed pillows were too large and a bit hard (personal preference) Pool area needed more shade I.e. umbrellas Lighting in room was difficult to figure out as there were so many switches!

Tropical forest getaway

The Aonang is a very popular destination and still this was a very calm resort with a beautiful tropical garden & forest which are well maintained. Luckily, we lived nearby pool so we didn't need to wait for a van to bring us to our hut. Hut was amazing! It is bigger that on pictures and they decorated the room for our honeymoon. The room smelled great. We were very satisfied with the smallest one. We took a free shuttle to town but be aware it doesn't drive back, we didn't have problems with this but older people or families have to pay for a taxi back.

The waiting times for the dinner were long, once we waited for one hour and there were only four tables occupied. They said sorry only when we reminded us by ourselves so the waiters were a bit slow and seemed very ‘sleepy’ and they don't serve alcohol just juices and teas. The same applies for massage lady.

Location was stunning, grounds very well kept and the bungalow was very clean.

Quite a long walk into the main area but still lots of restaurants in the vicinity.

Forest retreat in the heat, energy hungary

This is a steep sub tropical forest hill side site of about 2-250 individual villa rooms with an interesting architectural hex design. Individually air con cooled and they take some time to get from ambient 35°C to a comfortable 24°C (3 hours) so draw your own conclusions about energy efficiency. For us old and perhaps infirm there is a constant shuttle service in small Toyota songthaew that run between reception, breakfast and restaurant and swimming pool which if you're fit well and dont mind the sweat pools will be within walking distance for many. All staff are courteous, gracious and will do all in their power to please and accommodate and looked after me carefully. I cannot thank them enough. The rooms are fully equipped and The ribbon development of Aonang village begins just 50 metres to main road from reception, so 7-11, Lotus supermarkets nearby as well as Home Kitchen, a very nice Thai restaurant across the road plus the usual plethora smaller and always good "street food" style eats and cannabis sellers if that really is your thing The Fiore breakfast and restaurant ate also great and rating there is.a fine option for choice and price.

Villa in the jungle was great when I booked it, too isolated despite the many shuttle options with my present inability to move about in the heat. Not their fault, but keep in mind if you have young children or find yourself with.some incapacities. And the energy use of this place must be off the scale, None of the staff areas are air-conned so my heart felt apolagies to them and the Greta Thunberg

Exceptional

Great location and a lovely stay. The staff was very polite and helpful when we needed the hotel bus for pick up and drop off throughout the day as each guest room is spaced around a steep hill. You do need to be agile and happy to walk from room to the pool as the hotel grounds are on a steep hill. I just use this opportunity to walk to the pool for my daily exercise. Haha

Highly recommend this resort!

The property was beautiful! We definitely enjoyed our stay and would stay there again. Like the other reviews stated, the property is located on a hill with lots of stairs so it’s not suitable for disabled guests. The infinity pool was gorgeous! The breakfast was decent. I felt like it needed more variety but it was good enough to start our day. There is a 7-11 right across the street and a big liquor store right next door to the resort in case you need water or liquor. The beach is about a 20 minute walk from the resort which we didn’t mind. The resort is on a busy street so you will be able to shop or eat at different restaurants on your way to the beach. If you choose to not walk, there are many tuk-tuks available or you can use the bolt or grab app. The resort is still very quiet despite being located on a busy street. If you are interested in tours, there are a lot of tours available for purchase on the Main Street or via the front desk at the hotel. The staff was very friendly. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE LOCAL CURRENCY AT ALL TIMES. We had the opportunity to visit Phuket, Ao Nang and Railay Beach in which Ao Nang was our favorite town by far!

Spacious and peaceful stay

Such a beautiful villa! We loved how romantic and comfortable it was. A very unique resort - it felt like you were in the jungle but also close enough to get into Aonang beach. Great pool, very calm and get view although very busy and not enough beds. The room was very spacious being able to lay out 2 massive suitcases and have enough room. The bathrooms were clean, large and again you could spread your things out. The bed was amazing! Especially after staying at a lot of places with hard beds, these were so so good!

You definitely need patience staying here! The vans to pick you up have a wait time between 5-15 minutes which isn’t ideal, and the hill are so massive that the drive can sometimes be a little scary. The resort is situated a little far out to all the good restaurants. They have a shuttle but operating at such odd times (10am and 3pm) that we could never use them. At night they have big flood lights right outside the rooms- these attract a lot of wasps/ bees and other insects and can’t be turned off so the light fills the room

Nice hotel but…

The hotel was in a good location and the grounds of the hotel were very nice. The pool and pool bar were of a very good standard.

There are not enough sun beds at the pool. The evening shuttle into Ao Nang is always extremely crowded. There could be one every hour to improve this. There was also a smell of dampness in our room. The hills that the rooms are located on are very steep so you will have to wait for a shuttle to get to and from the rooms.

Very nice hotel, you would not imagine that this forest is so close to the main road! Amazing, serene surroundings, very clean, spacious and cozy room with all amenities! Overall amazing experience with both the comfort of being close to the city center while also being so immersed into nature

Amazing place to stay

The view of the room was amazing and beautiful. The hospitality of everyone there was wonderful, always up to help you with anything you need. The nature, the spaces and the location is ideal since is out of the busy area and makes it calm but is very close to everything by just a tuk tuk in 5 minutes. We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel and definitely would come back. Thank you!

The deck chairs at the pool are very limited, if there's no towels for the pool the lady at the bar simply says "sorry, no more towels" she doesn't care to call or do anything, I had to call myself (from the bar phone) to reception to ask for towels for the pool. They should placed at the showers in the rooms dispensers for shower gel and shampoo instead of this little ones that they give and is not enough for one person, also is a waste of plastic and hurt the environment. We had an upgrade for most of our stay, with a nice jacuzzi, the room was amazing. However, the last night we spent in another room and the space in the bathrooms to place the things was non existant and the mirror in the bathroom was horrible since it was dark and brown, you cannot see yourself. At the breakfast there's no bacon, the options are limited and on of the ladies who does the omelets have a terrible attitude, sorry to say this but people from Thailand are so sweet and nice except for those Muslim ones. Only this things that can be improved, for the rest is an amazing place to stay.

Pleasant Stay next to the Center of AoNang

The place itself is stunning, the main hall, as well as the facilities, are very spacious and you manage to reach out your room by a golf cart. There are shuttles twice per day to the main area in Ao Nang which is super helpful, on the way back you can grab a tuk-tuk for 150-200 bht. The room has an amazing view and the jacuzzi was a nice addition. The local restaurant is super nice, they also do room service which is helpful.

The shower had either burning or ice-cold water- nothing in the middle, we asked it to be fixed but most likely they forgot it. Also, the floor of the room was not very clean, if we went barefoot even on the day of arrival our feet got dirty.

Wonderful

The jungle views and the way the property is set up

Due to the way the property is set up you have to get a shuttle that the hotel provides to your room because it is too far to walk. There were not enough shuttles available in the evening which resulted in having to wait 30 minutes to get back to our room after a long day.

Even though the disadvantages it is very luxurious

The whole complexum is so extra. The quality of the facilities, the common places, the shuttle service etc. - you feel very luxurious here. Bathtub and shower was quite spacious enough for 2 people, the cottage was also nice and spacious. The gardening and the nature surrounding is very beautiful. Worth the money for sure for an experience like this.

What is the advantage of it to be close to the nature, this is the disadvantage as well. There are so many insects, bees, mosquitos, lizards, spiders etc. In so many cases they enter the room as well. We paid attention to keep close the windows and doors but I guess during the daily cleaning they left the door open. As we arrived home we had always some new fellows inside... One more thing that it is a bit far from the centre/coast. They provide a shuttle service also 3 times/day to carry you to the centre but usually you have to solve it by yourself either with grab/ rented scooter/ on foot (~30min).

Really great location and breakfast was good and varied. The room itself is up a mountain requiring a small car to get up the hill - not convenient if you're in a rush and you have to factor at least 10 mins delay I your plans.
